# Hands Creek Hideaway East Hampton, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house The home has an open-plan living room, dining area and equipped kitchen with a coffee maker and microwave. Indoor facilities include a fireplace, pool table, heating, central air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a washer and dryer. Bed linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels, a hair dryer and ironing equipment are provided. The fenced yard contains a private heated pool, a covered patio with shaded seating and outdoor dining, a gas grill and a gas fire pit. Bicycles and beach necessities are available. Pool use is generally seasonal, and outdoor furniture and equipment require advance confirmation outside the main summer season. Three bedrooms are on the main floor: a primary king bedroom with an ensuite, streaming TV, walk-in closet and balcony/deck; a bedroom with two bunk beds and two twin/single beds; and a queen bedroom with streaming TV. The fourth bedroom is upstairs and has a queen bed, ensuite and streaming TV. All four bedrooms have air conditioning. The primary ensuite has a shower and tub; the other main-floor full bathroom and the upstairs full bathroom have shower/tub combinations. A half bathroom is on the main floor. The home is on a quiet block in East Hampton, near ocean beaches, restaurants, shops, galleries, cycling routes and nature trails. Southampton is a short drive away. The homeowner manages on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Smoking is not allowed. Additional guests and events are prohibited without express approval. Events, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating guest groups during a stay, require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Utility fees are included, but guests pay excessive utility costs, defined as costs over $135.00 per night of the reservation. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Pets require owner approval; the dog approval fee is $200 per dog per booking, and additional fees and/or a security deposit may apply. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. Marquis may work with the owner to reopen canceled dates, at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total original reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is paid in full. If no replacement booking is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments are made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to arrange reasonable daytime hours.
