House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Maximum occupancy is 15; additional guests are not permitted. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited under the standard policy. Any proposed event, commercial activity, other non-traditional use or rotating groups during one stay requires prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. A refundable cash security deposit of 10% is required, governed by a separate agreement signed by owner and guest before check-in. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked for the same dates at the same or higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking. If no replacement booking is made, guests may use their original dates if payments are current and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be by check, ACH or wire. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule during reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

Nearby beaches include Main Beach, Georgica Beach, Wiborg Beach, Eqypt Beach and Two Mile Hollow Beach. The home has sleeping spaces on the main floor, second floor and lower level. No crib is provided; the property is not wheelchair accessible. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
