# Hamptons Haven East Hampton, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house The approximately 2,000-square-foot home sleeps up to six guests and has two full bathrooms. The great room combines an open dining area, high ceilings and a wood-burning fireplace. A screened porch, uncovered deck with patio furniture, detached garage and hot-and-cold outdoor shower extend the living space outdoors. The lower-level bedroom has a queen bed and standard closet. Upstairs, one bedroom has a king bed, walk-in closet and streaming TV; the other has a queen bed, crib and standard closet. All three bedrooms have air conditioning. The lower-level bathroom has a shower, and the upstairs bathroom has a shower/tub combination. Facilities include central air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, a laptop-friendly workspace, washer and dryer, and a kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, cookware and tableware. Coffee equipment includes a pot and Nespresso machine; a toaster, blender and ice maker are also available. Linens, bath and beach towels, a hair dryer and ironing equipment are provided. Entertainment includes television, Bluetooth speakers, a game room, ping-pong table and pool table. Outdoor equipment includes a gas grill, wood-burning fire pit, four lounge chairs, two beach chairs, cooler, kayak/canoe and one adult bicycle. There is driveway parking for five cars. Bay beaches, hiking trails and public golf courses are nearby; downtown Sag Harbor and bay beaches are minutes away. Any proposed event, commercial activity, rotating group or other non-traditional use requires prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. One dog of 150 lbs or less is permitted for an additional $150.00 per booking; larger dogs, multiple dogs and other pets require express approval. The additional-fee schedule specifies $150 per dog per booking. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $50.00 per night of the reservation. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May. For stays outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about the availability of outdoor furniture and equipment. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. Following cancellation, Marquis will attempt to work with the owner to reopen and rebook the original dates; reopening is at the owner's discretion. If the dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, the original stay may still be used provided scheduled payments are made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement.
