The house

Haleakala Shores A206 is a 1,048-square-foot, second-floor condo with elevator access. A recent full remodel updated the flooring, furniture, finishes and kitchen dishes. The kitchen has granite counters, subway tile, stainless appliances, a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, freezer, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, blender and ice machine. A dining area and a private lanai with a table provide places to eat and relax. An in-unit washer and dryer are provided. Both bathrooms have granite vanities and louvered windows.

The primary bedroom has a California king bed, air conditioning, a ceiling fan and a full ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has queen and twin beds and is separated from the living space by a sliding screen partition, with access to the second full bathroom. The living room has a full sleeper sofa near the second bathroom. Air conditioning serves the primary bedroom and living room, with ceiling fans throughout.

Shared facilities include a courtyard community pool, poolside barbecue area, shuffleboard court and tennis court. Wi-Fi, a laptop-friendly setup, television, satellite or cable TV, a smart TV, linens, a hair dryer and an iron are provided. Beach chairs are stored in the primary bedroom closet.

Kamaole Beach III is directly across the road, beyond a strip of beach park, for swimming and snorkeling. Molokini dive boats and Kihei restaurants are within a block. Kahului Airport (OGG) serves the island. Reserved covered parking is included, and a car is recommended. Children are welcome, smoking is not allowed, and longer stays are allowed.
