The house

The main living floor combines a sectional seating area, smart TV, dining table and kitchen beneath a tray ceiling. Plantation shutters and dark hardwood floors frame the space. The kitchen has granite counters, cherry-toned cabinets, a cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee-making equipment and a bar-height table beside bay windows.

Both bedrooms are upstairs and have California king beds, ensuite bathrooms, ceiling fans and air conditioning. The primary suite has a carved four-poster bed and bay windows; its ensuite includes a tub, glass shower and double vanity. The second bedroom has a dresser and smart TV, with a walk-in shower in its ensuite. A powder room is on the main floor.

The ground-level lanai has a round glass table and chairs among palms and red foliage, with a lawn beyond the hedge. Guests have access to a community pool and hot tub. An in-unit washer and dryer, garage parking, Wi-Fi, beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella and boogie boards are provided. Entertainment includes smart TV, satellite or cable TV, stereo, DVD and a speaker system.

Princeville Center's shops, grocery and restaurants are within walking distance. Anini Beach is a short drive east, and Hanalei Bay lies below the plateau to the west. A car is recommended for beaches and dining beyond Princeville Center; Lihue Airport (LIH) is the closest airport.
