Check-in after midnight is not possible, even for an additional fee. Late arrivals incur a surcharge payable in cash on arrival. Early check-in or late check-out depends on other arrivals and departures and can only be confirmed the day before arrival. Document-registration instructions are sent through the Guest Portal seven days before arrival for mandatory guest registration. Follow the waste-disposal instructions explained at check-in; incorrect disposal incurs a € 150 penalty. Air-conditioning and heating use must comply with Italian regulations: summer average indoor air temperature must not be below 26°C, and the winter weighted average must not exceed 19°C. Catania is climate zone B, with heating permitted for seven hours daily from 8 December to 23 March. Non-refundable bookings receive no refund for cancellation, modification or no-show. Standard bookings allow free cancellation until seven days before check-in; after that, cancellation, modification or no-show receives no refund.

Getting there

Steps lead to the building entrance despite elevator access to the first floor. The apartment is not suitable for guests with disabilities. No parking space is included and street parking is not guaranteed. From the airport, take Alibus to Via Dusmet and then bus 530 to V.le Marco Polo 50, one minute on foot from the apartment; total journey approximately one hour. Airport travel by car takes about 25–30 minutes. From Central Station, bus 628D stops at Duca degli Abruzzi 263, approximately 400 m or five minutes on foot from the apartment.
