Guests must separate and dispose of rubbish; failures may incur a charge at checkout. Document registration and online check-in must be completed before access instructions are released. Instructions are sent seven days before arrival, together with the requirement to pay Ferrara's tourist tax. Climate-control use is subject to Italian regulations: summer average indoor temperatures must not be below 26°C, and winter weighted average temperatures must not exceed 20°C. Ferrara's stated heating schedule is up to 13 hours daily from 22 October to 7 April. Optional office check-in between 20:00 and 22:00 costs 30 euros. Non-refundable bookings receive no refund for cancellation, changes or no-show. Standard bookings allow free cancellation until seven days before check-in; after that, cancellation, changes or no-show receive no refund.
Getting there
First-floor apartment without a lift. The property is within a restricted-traffic zone (ZTL); a vehicle registration number is required for the access pass sent on check-in day. Free public parking on Viale Baluardi and Via XX Settembre is a few minutes away on foot. From Ferrara station, buses 1, 6 or 9 serve Giovecca Montebello, a ten-minute walk from the apartment. Bologna Marconi Airport is approximately 40 minutes away by car or taxi. The oldest city walls on Via del Baluardi are a five-minute walk away; Castello Estense is ten minutes away.
