Tourist tax is payable. Instructions for registering identity documents through the Guest Portal are sent seven days before arrival for the required police guest-registration procedure. Check-in after 01:30 is not possible, even for an additional charge. Air-conditioning and heating use must comply with Italian regulations: summer average indoor air temperature must not be below 26°C, and winter weighted average indoor air temperature must not exceed 19°C. Palermo is in climate zone B, with heating permitted for seven hours daily from 8 December to 23 March. Non-refundable bookings receive no refund for cancellation, changes or no-show. Standard bookings permit free cancellation until seven days before check-in; after that deadline, cancellation, changes or no-show receive no refund.
Getting there
The apartment is in a restricted-traffic zone (ZTL). Access is by stairs to the third floor; there is no lift, and the shower enclosure is raised. Mondello Beach is 20 minutes away by car. Nearby paid parking includes the outdoor car park in Piazzale Ungheria, approximately six minutes away on foot and open 24 hours. Palermo Central Station is less than 20 minutes away on foot; buses 101, 102 and 124 stop a few minutes' walk from the apartment. Prestia e Comandè buses connect Palermo Airport with Central Station; an airport transfer is also available on request.
