The house

This 1,600-square-foot, single-level condo has two bathrooms, modern interior updates and a living area with an electric fireplace. Each room has its own portable evaporative cooling unit; heating and ceiling fans are also available.

The full kitchen includes a stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and kitchen basics, with a dining area for meals. Other facilities include Wi-Fi, a television, a balcony or patio, a washer and dryer, and parking for three cars. An elevator is available. Bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, fresh towels, a hair dryer, hangers and an iron are provided. Safety equipment includes smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit.

Restaurants and local pubs are within walking distance. Downtown Pagosa Springs is approximately one mile away, with geothermal hot springs nearby. The San Juan River runs through town and offers fishing, tubing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding during warmer months. Wolf Creek Ski Area is approximately 18 miles away, and Durango is less than 60 miles away.
