The house

Historic details include tall ceilings, wood trim, hardwood floors, and a brick fireplace in the living room. The living and dining areas connect, and the home has peekaboo views of Mt. Kulshan.

The fully equipped kitchen has custom tiled counters, professional-grade appliances, an espresso machine, stand mixer, rice cooker, dishwasher, and a dedicated baking station. A sunny breakfast nook provides another dining space.

The primary bedroom has a king bed and garden view. Guest Bedroom 2 has a king bed and two twin beds with a garden view; Guest Bedroom 3 has two twin beds. The upstairs bathroom has a shower only, and the downstairs bathroom has a bathtub only.

A private landscaped backyard has a garden pergola and space for outdoor dining. The front porch is tiled, and the entrance includes stairs. Children are welcome, with toys, Legos, books, puzzles, a playroom, and a media corner for video games. Other facilities include heating, a Smart TV, washer and dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi, a private entrance, and smartlock self check-in. Security cameras are among the safety features.

Cafés, breweries, shops, parks, and Haggen’s grocery are within walking distance. Galbraith Mountain trails and Bellingham International Airport are each a 10-minute drive away; the Canadian border is a 30-minute drive and Mt. Baker Ski Area is a 1.25-hour drive away. Downtown, the waterfront, Cornwall Park, and the Columbia historic neighborhood are minutes away by car.

The maximum standard stay is 29 nights; longer stays are available by request rather than instant booking. Stays over 14 days require a mid-stay clean charged at 50% of the departure cleaning fee.
