The house

The apartment occupies a building dating from 1875, formerly used by English sugar and wine merchants. Its original architecture has been retained, with restored and preserved ceilings and floors. There is one bedroom with a queen-size bed, a double sofa bed in the common space, and one bathroom with a bathtub. Beds have Molaflex mattresses.

The equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher, dishes and cutlery, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, toaster and kettle. The apartment has a high-definition Smart TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning in the bedroom and living room, a safe, iron and hair dryer. Bed linen and towels are included.

Guests share a rooftop terrace overlooking Funchal Harbour and a laundry room with washing machines and dryers. Included private garage parking is in the building's basement, and the building has a lift. The complex's outdoor area has video surveillance. A baby travel bed is available on request.

The apartment is close to the Old Town, Lavradores Market, the cable car, beaches, museums, shopping streets, cafés, bars, gardens, bus stations and supermarkets. Cristiano Ronaldo's Madeira International Airport is 17 kilometres away by car.
