The house

Suite I occupies a building dating from 1875, formerly used by English sugar and wine merchants. Its original architecture, restored ceilings and preserved floors are complemented by modern furnishings. The bedroom has one queen-size bed, and the common living space has one double sofa bed. There is one bathroom with a bathtub. Beds have Molaflex mattresses, and a baby travel bed is available on request.

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher, dishes and cutlery, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, toaster and kettle. The apartment has a high-definition Smart TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning in the bedroom and living room, a safe, iron and hair dryer. Bed linen and towels are included.

Shared facilities include a laundry room with washing machines and dryers, and a communal rooftop terrace with panoramic views of Funchal Harbour and the New Year fireworks. Included garage parking is in the building's basement. The building has a lift, and the complex's outdoor area has video surveillance.

The apartment is close to the Old Town, Lavradores Market, the cable car, beaches, museums, shopping streets, cafés, bars, gardens, bus stations and supermarkets. Cristiano Ronaldo's Madeira International Airport is 17 kilometres away by car. Toilet paper and shampoo are supplied for the first day only.
