## About the house

Fernvale Cottage accommodates four guests. The open living area has a chaise lounge, wall-mounted TV, air conditioning, heating and books. A dedicated office provides Wi-Fi, an ergonomic chair and a monitor.

The retro-style kitchen includes an induction stove, range hood, oven, fridge and microwave. A wraparound wooden preparation bench doubles as a dining space with four stools. Outside are a fairy-lit fire pit, BBQ, large picnic table, outdoor heater and two additional small seating areas.

Both bedrooms have wardrobe storage, shuttered windows, pillows and blankets. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and Bedroom 2 has a double bed. The bathroom has a clawfoot bath with an overhead shower, gold tapware and a long timber vanity. A washing machine is beneath the vanity; a dryer, hair dryer and iron are also available.

The cottage has a private entrance and parking for one vehicle. Lenah Valley cafes, pubs and grocers are a five-minute drive away; Hobart is 17 minutes away. Water comes from a tank. Wi-Fi is available, but an NBN connection is not possible.

Public parking is a few metres beyond the driveway for guests uncomfortable reversing. Guests must climb stairs, and the shower over the bath may not suit guests with mobility issues. There are unprotected heights, potentially dangerous animals on the property and security cameras.

Family friendly; pets, parties and events, smoking and commercial photography are allowed. Contact the host before bringing more than one pet. Trailers, caravans and other towable items are not permitted on the property. Conserve tank water during your stay; the host covers the cost if an additional refill is needed.
