House rules
The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Maximum occupancy is six; additional guests are not permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating guest groups require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservation approval is required before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage, defined as utility costs over $85.00 per night. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. A refundable cash security deposit of 10% is required; a separate security deposit agreement must be signed by owner and guest before check-in. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Following cancellation, Marquis may attempt to reopen and rebook the original dates with owner approval. If rebooked at the same or higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the new reservation. If not rebooked, the original stay may still be used provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule during reasonable daytime hours.
Getting there
Ocean beaches are one mile away. The property is not suitable for multiple families and unrelated guests. Inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability outside Memorial Day to Labor Day; spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
