The house

The main house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, including a master ensuite and a family bathroom with a bath and separate toilet. The separate self-contained sleepout has its own bathroom, living space and small kitchenette. Across the property, the bedrooms have two queen beds, two single beds and one double bed.

The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area has a heat pump. The kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and microwave. Entertainment includes free Wi-Fi, Freeview TV, a DVD player, books, board games, puzzles and tennis rackets. Bring your own Chromecast for streaming. A full laundry includes a washing machine.

The outdoor entertaining area has a swimming pool, brazier, Weber barbecue and outdoor furniture. Three adult kayaks and an outdoor shower are provided. Off-street parking is available on a private driveway, with space for a boat up to 5 m.

The home is one street back from Whangapoua’s beachfront, minutes from Whangapoua Beach. Whangapoua Store is a seven-minute walk away, and the New Chums Beach track is a 10-minute stroll away. The Dunes Matarangi Golf Club is an 18-minute drive away; Whangapoua and Kuaotunu boat ramps are nearby.

Linen is included, with sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats and tea towels supplied. Pillows and duvets are provided, and beds are made before arrival and stripped after departure.
