Occasional encounters with insects, lizards, rodents and reptiles are part of the tropical natural setting. Pool maintenance takes place every Tuesday and Friday, and the maintenance team requires access to the house. A 4x4 vehicle is required for access. Occasional power outages may occur because of weather or falling branches, and spring-water interruptions can happen.
Getting there
The property is about 5–10 minutes by car from Uvita and 8 minutes by car from Marino Ballena National Park's Whale's Tail, according to different location descriptions. A 4x4 vehicle is required to access the property, especially during the rainy season. The property is in the mountains and has a rural access setting. Nearby attractions and towns are described with driving times, including Dominical at 30 minutes, Quepos at 35 minutes, Manuel Antonio at 45 minutes, Hacienda Baru at 15 minutes, Nauyaca Waterfalls at 30 minutes, Playa Matapalo at 25 minutes, Playa Linda at 30 minutes and Catarata Uvita at 10 minutes.
