The apartment has a bedroom with a queen bed and a large wardrobe, and a bathroom with a shower, basin, wooden vanity and toilet. The open-plan living area has couches, a smart TV requiring guests’ own logins, and a fully equipped kitchen. Kitchen equipment includes cookware, dishes and silverware, a dishwasher, kettle and microwave. Hot water, shampoo and window guards are provided.

Sliding doors connect the living space to an outdoor patio with artificial turf and seating for dining or relaxing. Guests have full access to the property during their stay.

Gardens is in Cape Town’s City Bowl, at the foot of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head, with restaurants and boutique shops nearby. Camps Bay and Clifton beaches are a 15-minute Uber ride away. A hop-on, hop-off tourist bus stop is across the road in front of the Planetarium, and the Upper Long St MyCiTi stop is around the corner in front of Long Street Cafe.

Scheduled loadshedding can interrupt electricity for a few hours at a time. Potential construction disturbance may occur; municipal construction hours are 06:00–18:00, Monday to Saturday. Stays longer than seven nights require a paid mid-stay clean every seven nights.
