House rules

The primary renter must be at least 25. Maximum occupancy is 12; additional guests are not permitted. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating groups require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $71.00 per night of the reservation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. A refundable cash security deposit of 10% is required, governed by a separate Security Deposit Agreement signed before check-in. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates if payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the stay. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to arrange reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

The property is not handicap accessible. Nearby beaches include Main Beach, Georgica Beach, Wiborg Beach, Eqypt Beach and Two Mile Hollow Beach. No beach access is included. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; seasonal cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
