The house

Edith Grove VIII is a 68 sqm townhouse spread over three floors, combining contemporary interiors with original Victorian features and bespoke artwork. The open-plan lower floor has a sitting area and dining space leading to a fully-fitted kitchen. A second sitting room is upstairs.

Both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. The upstairs bedroom has large windows and an ensuite with a freestanding bath; the top-floor primary suite overlooks the garden. The bed inventory comprises one super king-size bed in Bedroom 1 and one king-size bed in Bedroom 2.

The private garden is shaded by a large London plane tree and has multi-level decking. Kitchen equipment includes a coffee maker, dishwasher, electric oven, hob, freezer, fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster. Other facilities include free internet, a TV, speakers or sound system, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, towels, and children's books and toys.

The home is a short distance from Coleridge Gardens and Earl's Court, with easy access to public transport and the boutiques of Chelsea, Fulham and West Brompton. Nearby neighbourhood attractions include independent shops, galleries, live entertainment, international dining, green spaces and the Thames Embankment.

There is no air-conditioning. Fans are provided in every bedroom between May and September and can be requested outside that period. Some traffic noise can be heard indoors. The fireplaces are ornamental, and the guest bathroom toilet has a weak flush.
