House rules

Maximum occupancy is eight; no additional guests are permitted. The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. Pets, smoking and events are prohibited. Non-traditional uses, commercial activities and rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $135.00 per night of the reservation. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and one end-of-stay cleaning are included; additional cleanings are available at the guest’s expense. Optional pool heating costs an additional $110/night for propane usage. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If the owner elects to reopen cancelled dates and the property is rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If it is not rebooked, the original dates may still be used if payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may arrange daytime showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to respect guest privacy.

Getting there

The closest beach is a five-minute car ride or a 15-minute bicycle ride away; nearby beaches are on Dunes Road. The home is not handicap accessible and is not suitable for children aged four and under. The pool is not fenced. Confirm off-season pool, outdoor furniture and equipment availability before booking.
