For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. A refundable cash security deposit of 10% is required, governed by a separate agreement signed by owner and guest before check-in. Spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. After cancellation, Marquis may work with the owner to reopen the dates. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking. Reopening dates is the owner's decision. If the property is not rebooked, the original stay may still be used if payments meet the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be by check, ACH, or wire. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule them during reasonable daytime hours.
