House rules

Reservations require approval before confirmation. The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. Maximum occupancy is four; additional persons require express approval. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited; special-use reservations involving events, commercial activities, rotating groups or other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Pets require owner approval. Dog approval costs $75 per dog per booking; other fees and/or a security deposit may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage, defined as utility costs over $50.00 per reservation night. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. Stays longer than seven nights require one cleaning per week at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If the owner elects to reopen canceled dates and Marquis successfully rebooks the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis is notified in writing at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property includes up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement's coverage details. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

East Hampton beaches and village are two minutes away. The home is not handicap accessible. Outside Memorial Day through Labor Day, inquire before booking about availability of outdoor furniture and equipment; spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
