# East Hampton Serene East Hampton, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house The approximately 3,000-square-foot home has an open-plan living and dining area with vaulted ceilings, skylights, floor-to-ceiling windows, a fireplace and sliding doors to the deck. A separate media den has a sofa and television. The equipped kitchen includes appliances, a microwave, coffee maker, cookware, dinnerware and a large island. Central air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, bed linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels, a hair dryer and ironing equipment are provided. All four bedrooms are on the main floor. The primary bedroom has a king bed, cable TV, a walk-in closet and doors to the pool deck; its ensuite bathroom has a tub and shower. Two bedrooms each have two twin beds and standard closets. The guest bedroom has a queen bed, cable TV, a standard closet and a full ensuite bathroom. There are four full bathrooms in total: one with a shower and tub, two with showers and one with a shower/tub combination. The outdoor area includes a private heated, fenced pool, an expansive wooden sundeck with chaise loungers, outdoor dining and a gas barbecue. The backyard itself is not fenced. Free parking is available. East Hampton village center is minutes away, and Main Beach and village attractions are a short drive or bike ride away. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage, defined as costs over $135.00 per night of the reservation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. Following cancellation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen the dates; reopening is the owner's decision. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the stay. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; amounts above $3,500 must be paid by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement's coverage details.
