# East Hampton Serene Escape East Hampton, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house The home accommodates up to eight guests and has double-height ceilings, an open-plan living area and a finished basement with additional space for relaxing. The kitchen includes a stove, oven, refrigerator, ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, cookware, dishes and pot and Keurig coffee makers. Central air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, a washer and dryer, streaming TVs and Sonos speakers are provided. Fitness equipment includes a stretching/yoga mat. Bed linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels and a hair dryer are supplied. Outside are a private heated outdoor pool with surrounding fencing, a wooden sundeck with lounge chairs, an uncovered patio with dining furniture and an umbrella, a gas barbecue and a hot-and-cold outdoor shower. Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are available. Free parking and a private entrance are provided. Upstairs, the primary bedroom has a king bed, an ensuite with a shower and separate tub, and a balcony/deck. The upstairs queen bedroom has an ensuite with a shower/tub combination and a balcony/deck. On the main floor, a queen bedroom and a bedroom with two double/full beds share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with a shower. A separate half bathroom is also on the main floor. The enclosed lower-level sleeping area has a sleeper sofa. All five sleeping areas have air conditioning, streaming TV and a standard closet. The home is minutes from Hamptons beaches and villages and is near East Hampton, Sag Harbor and Amagansett. The homeowner manages on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation. Inquire before booking outside Memorial Day to Labor Day about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May. Maximum occupancy is eight guests. Pets and smoking are prohibited. The fireplace is not accessible to guests. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. A refundable cash security deposit of $5,000 is required, subject to a separate Security Deposit Agreement signed by the owner and guest before check-in. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and successfully rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If the property is not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above that amount must be made by check, ACH or wire. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.
