House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. No guests beyond the maximum occupancy of six are permitted. Pets, smoking and events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $50.00 per reservation night. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and one end-of-stay cleaning are included; additional cleanings are available at the guest's expense. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked for the original dates at the same or higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement booking is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property carries up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to booking-agreement coverage details. Property showings to prospective renters or buyers may occur, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

Maidstone Park Beach is one mile away. The property is not handicap accessible and is not suitable for unrelated guests. Bedrooms occupy the first and second floors. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
