Vaulted ceilings, windows, skylights and light wood paneling frame the open-plan living areas. The living room has a sectional sofa, television and wood-burning fireplace, with a Sonos speaker system and piano also available. The island kitchen includes Viking stainless steel appliances, black marble countertops and a dining table with four chairs and a bench. The wraparound deck has a gas grill, patio furniture and lounge chairs, overlooking a large lawn. Six adult bicycles, a beach umbrella and cooler are supplied. Indoor facilities include a ping-pong table, game room, stretching/yoga mat, laptop-friendly workspace, laundry and a full walkout basement. A heated artist studio with skylights sits above the two-car garage. Two bedrooms are upstairs: one with a king bed and one with a queen bed and television. The first-floor primary bedroom has a queen bed, full ensuite bathroom and deck access. All three bedrooms have air conditioning and closets. There are three full bathrooms: an upstairs bathroom with a shower and tub, and two downstairs bathrooms, one with a shower/tub combination and one with a shower. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $50.00 per reservation night. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and one end-of-stay cleaning are included; additional cleanings are available at the guest's expense. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked for the original dates at the same or higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement booking is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property carries up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to booking-agreement coverage details.
