House rules

Maximum overnight occupancy is six. Additional daytime guests are permitted only while the primary renter is present. Follow all town laws and regulations. Pets, smoking, parties (including birthday and pool parties) and events are prohibited. Commercial activities, rotating guest groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $85.00 per night of the reservation. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the new reservation is collected. If the property is not rebooked, the original guest may use the original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement's coverage terms. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to provide advance notice and schedule reasonable daytime showings.

Getting there

Town Line Beach and Beach Lane Beach are nearby. The property is not handicap accessible and is not suitable for multiple families. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Outdoor furniture and equipment may not be available outside Memorial Day to Labor Day; inquire before booking. Spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
