House rules

Pets and additional persons are prohibited without express approval. Events require express approval; events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Smoking is not permitted. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $115.00 per night of the reservation. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool, hot tub, outdoor furniture and equipment availability. Spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Following cancellation, reopening dates is at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments are made and Marquis is notified in writing at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement.

Getting there

The home occupies 1.2 beachfront acres. It is not suitable for children aged four and under, and the primary renter must be at least 45 years old.
