# Driftwood Cove Hampton Bays, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house Driftwood Cove accommodates up to six guests in an open-plan home with connected living, dining and kitchen areas. The equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, cookware, dishes and silverware. The living room has a television and a usable gas-burning fireplace. Central air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, linens, bath towels and pool/beach towels are provided. All three bedrooms are on the first/main floor of the main house. The primary bedroom has a king bed, air conditioning, a full ensuite bathroom, a walk-in closet and balcony/deck access. Each of the other two bedrooms has a queen bed, air conditioning and a standard closet. All three full bathrooms are on the first/main floor and have showers. Outdoor facilities include a private heated freshwater pool, a covered patio, lounge chairs, a table and chairs, and a gas grill. Parking and an attached garage are available. The unfenced backyard opens onto a small bluff leading down to the beach. Southampton restaurants, shops, galleries, golf courses and beaches are a short drive away. The homeowner manages on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation through the Elite program. Maximum occupancy is six; additional guests require express approval. Events require express approval. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups during a stay require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Reservations require approval before confirmation. One dog of 50 lbs or less is permitted for an additional $250.00 per booking. Larger dogs, multiple dogs and other pets require express approval. Utility fees are included in the rental amount, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool availability and outdoor furniture/equipment. Spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Following cancellation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen the dates, at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price and the replacement reservation is paid in full, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total original reservation amount is issued. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided payments meet the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours. ## Property questions ## Is the pool fenced?
