House rules

Maximum occupancy is six, with no additional persons permitted and no more than three unrelated guests. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited. Any proposed events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Proof of extended liability insurance is required. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility use, defined as costs over $50.00 per night of the reservation. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If canceled dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has damage protection of up to $25,000, subject to the booking agreement's coverage details. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

Ditch Plains Beach is 800 steps away. No parking on Miller Ave. The property is not handicap accessible. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
