## About the house

Davis House on the Bay accommodates eight guests in three bedrooms, with five beds and three bathrooms. Built in 1974 as Captain Leonard Davis's retirement home, it overlooks Fisherman Bay, San Juan Island, the Haro Strait and the islands of British Columbia. Bay views extend through nearly every room, with opportunities to watch tides, ferries, bald eagles and otters.

The main living area is upstairs, with a wood-burning fireplace and TV. An adjacent dining room seats eight and is warmed by the back of the fireplace. An equipped eat-in kitchen provides another dining space. A second large living room downstairs has a fireplace and space for board games.

Outside are a small bay-facing balcony, a patio running the length of the house, a spacious backyard, a nature path and a firepit. The spit is accessible on foot. Dogs are welcome when authorized in the reservation; the yard is not fully fenced.

Pets allowed: Yes · Dog-friendly; pets must be authorized in the reservation. Emotional support animals require authorization as pets. Bona fide service animals are permitted as required by law. Pet-policy violations, including extra or different pets than authorized, may incur a charge of up to $1,000, subject to booking-channel terms. The yard is not fully fenced.

The central living space is upstairs, with a second living room downstairs. The yard is not fully fenced. A nature path and a walk down to the spit provide outdoor exploration.

The responsible renter must be at least 25 unless a different minimum applies under unit-specific terms or law, provide proof of age on request and remain at the property throughout the stay. Younger guests must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Occupancy must not exceed the reservation guest count or the maximum of eight. Stays are temporary; permanent residency is prohibited.

Quiet hours are 22:00–08:00. Smoking of any kind is prohibited throughout the property, including outdoor areas. Pets require reservation authorization. Parties, events, commercial photography or filming, tents and other structures require Avari's written permission; additional fees may apply. Charcoal grills and illegal activity are prohibited. Follow parking rules and lock doors and windows when away.

Subject to booking-channel terms, applicable charges include damage or loss; up to $1,000 for pet-policy violations; up to $500 for additional cleaning, or actual cost if greater, for rule violations or excessive mess; governmental, utility or HOA fines plus related damages; and a late-departure fee of up to one night's rental. Rule violations may result in removal without refund.

Report maintenance, housekeeping or safety issues promptly and allow reasonable time for correction. Entry may occur with reasonable notice or immediately in an emergency. Unit-specific terms override the general terms; conflicting booking-channel terms take precedence.
