The house

The 68 m² wooden home stands on a 1,200 m² natural plot with beach grass and small shrubs. Built in 1974 and renovated in 2012, it has light interior finishes and exposed beams. The living room includes a dining area, sofas, a wood-burning stove, a flat-screen television with German satellite channels and a radio. Heating includes electric heating and an air-to-air heat pump.

The kitchen has a refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher and a separate 44-litre freezer. Each of the three bedrooms has a 140 cm-wide double bed. The bathroom has underfloor heating and a washing machine. A cot and high chair are available.

The large enclosed terrace offers places to sit in sun, shade or shelter. Outdoor facilities include garden furniture, loungers, a charcoal barbecue, a storage shed, a sandpit and a swing. The North Sea sandy beach is 700 metres away, and Hvide Sande has restaurants, cafés and shops around its harbour.
