# Coves Bay Beauty Sag Harbor, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house The approximately 3,250-square-foot home has an open floor plan, a gallery hallway and two living rooms, including one with double-height ceilings beside a dining table seating ten. The kitchen has an oversized island, stainless steel appliances and ample counter space. Outdoor spaces include a large back deck, an entertaining patio, an upstairs deck, a fenced backyard, poolside loungers and an outdoor grill. Beach cruisers are provided, and there is ample parking. The five bedrooms contain two king beds, two double/full beds and two queen beds. All bedrooms have air conditioning and walk-in closets. Bedrooms 1 and 2 each have a full ensuite bathroom, streaming TV and balcony/deck; Bedroom 3 also has streaming TV. Two full bathrooms on the main floor have showers; the two upstairs bathrooms have showers and tubs. Each bed has Cozy Earth bamboo-viscose linens. Bath towels, pool/beach towels, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, washer, dryer, heating, Wi-Fi and a microwave are available. The gas fireplace is unavailable until further notice. Foster Memorial Town Beach is a 10-minute walk away, and Haven’s Beach is a 5-minute drive away. The provided beach cruisers can be used to visit downtown Sag Harbor. The outdoor pool is seasonal, and off-season outdoor furniture and equipment require advance confirmation. Outdoor furniture and equipment outside Memorial Day to Labor Day require advance confirmation; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking is not permitted. Additional guests require express approval, and a fee of $150.00 per person per night may be required. Events require express approval, and a $2,000.00 event fee may be required. Events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. One dog weighing 25 lbs or less is permitted for $500.00 per booking. Larger dogs, multiple dogs and other pets require express approval; the fee schedule lists $500 per dog per booking. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $110.00 per night of the reservation. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and an end-of-stay cleaning are included; additional cleaning is available at the guest’s expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner’s discretion and rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is paid in full. If the property is not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and written notice is given at least 72 hours before the stay. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger balance payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement.
