The house

Touches of retro mix with modern furnishings in the living room to create a simultaneously sleek and warm feel. An L-shaped sofa sits against a dark wall, facing a panelled entertainment unit with a widescreen TV. Softly lit by floor-to-ceiling windows, you’ll feel welcome and comfortable in no time. On the other side of the room, the dark wall extends to the dining area, which presents a more sophisticated aura with its giant vintage mirror and large retro dining table with room for six.

The open-plan space continues through to the kitchen – and so does the off-black aubergine colour palette, which interacts the cream cabinetry to great effect. And never fear: you’ll have all the amenities you’ll need for your stay in here. The principal bedroom is the sleekest space in the home, bringing an ultra-modern minimalism with a partially panelled feature wall, against which a king-sized bed sits in repose. The second bedroom showcases the dark and bright colour palette superbly, and features a single trundle bed that can convert to a double bed, a desk and a wardrobe.

The bathroom, accessed near the entrance to the home, is clean and sleek, offering a bath with overhead shower, toilet and wash basin.
