Before you book
House rules
The primary renter must be at least 27. Maximum occupancy is seven, with no additional persons permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Utility fees are included, but guests pay for excessive usage. One end-of-stay cleaning is included; stays longer than seven nights require one cleaning per week at the guest’s expense. Reservations require approval before confirmation. The owner may show the home to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to arrange reasonable daytime hours. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If the owner agrees to reopen canceled dates and they are rebooked at the same or higher price, a refund less 20% of the original reservation total is issued after full payment for the replacement booking. If no replacement booking is made, guests may use the original dates if payments meet the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be by check, ACH or wire.
Getting there
The home is across from the town beach and marina, steps from the water. Bedrooms are on the first and second floors. The home is not handicap accessible. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about availability of outdoor furniture and equipment; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
