## About the house

The 110 sqm apartment has an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, with colourful soft furnishings and artwork. The lounge opens onto a private balcony with potted plants, and a separate office has two desks.

Both bedrooms have a super king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom has a hanging rail instead of a wardrobe and a ceiling fan. Bedroom fans are provided between May and September; please request fans for stays outside this period. There is no air conditioning. The television pictured in the second bedroom is not in use.

The kitchen includes an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Other facilities include a washing machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, towels, television, bathtub and shower. An elevator, smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector are provided.

Clerkenwell has bars and cafés, with the Barbican Centre nearby for exhibitions and shows. Nearby Farringdon has weekly markets and pubs.

The homeowners’ housekeeper may visit during your stay, usually on Wednesdays for two to three hours, although timing varies. Guests will be told when to expect her.
