The house

Colony Surf Getaway accommodates up to six guests in a quiet residential building, with views of the Pacific Ocean, Diamond Head, mountains and the city skyline. The open living area has sofas, a built-in window seat, a flat-screen TV and wide-opening sliding windows, beside an ocean-view dining nook.

The fully equipped kitchen has stainless-steel appliances, counter space and a curved seating bar, plus a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and dishes and utensils. Both bedrooms have full ensuite bathrooms; the primary bedroom has ocean views. Additional sleeping is in the common area. Built-in storage, a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi and two included private parking stalls are available.

The building has direct beachfront access to the Gold Coast shoreline. Beach towels, chairs, mats, an umbrella and boogie boards are provided. The Outrigger Canoe Club and Elks Club are next door. Diamond Head State Monument, Kapiolani Park and Waikiki beaches are within walking reach; Ala Moana Center, Ala Wai Golf Course and Waikiki shopping and dining are a short drive away.

The condo is reserved exclusively for a 30-day rental period. Guests need not occupy it for the full month, but the full monthly charge applies regardless of nights stayed.
