The inn was built in 2005 as a bed-and-breakfast and is open year-round. Its five room categories include Island, Boat, Canal, Shell and Creekside, as well as a cottage on the grounds. The Island and Boat rooms each have a king bed and private bathroom with shower; the Canal Room has a king bed convertible to two twins and a private bathroom with shower; the Shell Room has a queen bed and private bathroom with shower; and Creekside has a king bed and a private bathroom with jacuzzi tub and shower.
The one-bedroom cottage has a queen bed and water views. Rooms have refrigerators; morning coffee and tea are served in the shared dining room, and breakfast is included with stays. Shared spaces include a dining room and a downstairs library/TV room. The inn has central air conditioning. The cottage is furnished with linens, towels, cookware and a Keurig. Kayaks and bikes are available.
