## About the house

The inn was built in 2005 as a bed-and-breakfast and is open year-round. Its five room categories include Island, Boat, Canal, Shell and Creekside, as well as a cottage on the grounds. The Island and Boat rooms each have a king bed and private bathroom with shower; the Canal Room has a king bed convertible to two twins and a private bathroom with shower; the Shell Room has a queen bed and private bathroom with shower; and Creekside has a king bed and a private bathroom with jacuzzi tub and shower. The one-bedroom cottage has a queen bed and water views. Rooms have refrigerators; morning coffee and tea are served in the shared dining room, and breakfast is included with stays. Shared spaces include a dining room and a downstairs library/TV room. The inn has central air conditioning. The cottage is furnished with linens, towels, cookware and a Keurig. Kayaks and bikes are available.

The Atlantic Ocean is 1.5 miles away; the Wright Brothers Memorial is three-quarters of a mile away. The inn is a raised property with stairs to enter. Creekside is on the first floor. Kayaks and bikes are available.

Check-in is after 3:00 pm; the stated arrival window is 3:00–6:00 pm. Arrange in advance for arrivals outside that window. Check-out is before 11:00 am; late check-out may be available by prior arrangement. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is not allowed inside the inn; ashtrays are provided outside. Breakfast is served at approximately 7:30–8:30 am; guests may ask about other times and advise the inn of allergies or dislikes. A non-refundable cancellation fee of $50 per day, per room applies. Contact the inn at least 14 days before arrival to cancel or reschedule; if the room is rebooked, a full or partial refund may be made at the inn's discretion, within 10 business days. At booking, 50% of the reservation balance is collected.
