Sliding doors open to a large uncovered deck with a gas barbecue, outdoor dining furniture and lounge chairs. Mature landscaping and lawn surround the house, which contains original artwork dating from the 1980s to the mid-2000s by an artist who lived in Greece. An open kitchen and dining room connect to a den and enclosed sunroom. The kitchen includes a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, dishes, silverware and cookware. The main floor contains the king bedroom with an ensuite shower bathroom and generous closets, a separate half bathroom and a laundry room. Upstairs are two guest bedrooms, an additional sleeping loft and a full shower bathroom. Central air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, a laptop-friendly workspace, parking, a washer and dryer are available. Bed linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels, a hair dryer and an iron with ironing board are provided. The outdoor heated gunite pool is private and fenced. Golf and beaches are nearby, and restaurants and local bars are minutes away. The homeowner handles property preparation, arrival coordination, on-site operations and guest communication after booking. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture, equipment and pool availability. Spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May. Reservations require approval before confirmation. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Occupancy is limited to eight, with no additional persons permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Children are welcome; no crib is provided. Events are prohibited. Any proposed event, commercial activity, rotating guest groups or other non-traditional use requires prior written approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. One dog of 50 lbs or less is permitted. Larger dogs, multiple dogs and other pets require express approval. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive use, defined as utility costs over $100.00 per reservation night. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are generally non-refundable. Reopening canceled dates is at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is paid in full. If the dates are not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments are complete and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above that amount must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement.
