A 4x4 vehicle is mandatory for arrival. Tropical wildlife, including insects, lizards, rodents, and reptiles, may occasionally be encountered. Power outages may occur because of falling branches or weather-related issues, and the local spring-water supply may occasionally be interrupted. Pool maintenance requires staff access to the house on maintenance days.
Getting there
A 4x4 vehicle is mandatory to arrive at the property. The villa is approximately a 15-minute drive from Dominical and is located high in the mountains. The listing gives an approximately 3.5-hour drive from San José Airport, or a 20-minute flight from San José to Quepos Airport followed by a 50-minute drive.
