# Chic on Shorewood East Hampton, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house The home has bright, open living spaces, multiple lounge areas and a finished lower-level recreation room. Sliding glass doors connect the living areas to the rear deck and pool. A multi-zone Sonos system serves indoor and outdoor spaces. Two upstairs bedrooms each have a queen bed; the main-floor bedroom has a queen bed and deck access, and the lower-level bedroom has a king bed. All four bedrooms have air conditioning. Bedroom 1 has streaming TV and Bedroom 4 has a TV. An upstairs open loft has three additional beds and a desk area. There is one full bathroom on each of the upper, main and lower levels; the upper and lower bathrooms have shower/tub combinations, while the main-floor bathroom has a shower. Outdoor facilities include extensive uncovered decking, four lounge chairs, patio furniture with an umbrella, a gas grill, a hot-and-cold outdoor shower and a wood-burning fire pit. Two adult bicycles and beach toys are available. Bed linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels, a hair dryer, heating, hot water, a washer and dryer are provided. East Hampton village and local beaches are minutes away. Nearby beaches include Maidstone Park, Haven’s and Wiborg Beach. The property is not suitable for multiple families. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Maximum occupancy is six; additional persons are not permitted. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activity, other non-traditional uses or rotating guest groups require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $110.00 per night of the reservation. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, weekly cleaning is mandatory at the guest’s expense. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. Following cancellation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen and rebook the dates, at the owner’s discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use the original dates if payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule during reasonable daytime hours.
