Getting Around
Getting to and from the cottage is very easy given its city central location. The easiest way to get to the property from the airport is by taxi. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes and depending on traffic the journey costs between €20 - €30. If you prefer public transport, take the 700 Aircoach from the airport to the Trinity/Grafton stop; a return trip only costs €14. The cottage is only a short walk from this stop.
Being so central, most of your journeys can be made by foot. If you would prefer using public transport, you will also have easy access to several bus routes on Pearse Street, and on the quays. Pick up a Leap card from a local newsagent and you will be able to use all public transport across the city while you are here.
Another great way to get around the city is cycling, a 3-day pass costing only €5, with bike stations throughout the city. The nearest bike stand to the property is at Trinity Science gallery, about 3 minutes from the cottage on foot.
If you wish to pop out of the city, you can do day trips to other cities and towns in the West and South of Ireland such as Westport, Galway and Cork. There two main intercity train stations in Dublin are called Heuston and Connolly.
