This 120 sqm home is arranged over two floors, with hardwood flooring, traditional decorative features and a sitting room divided into separate nooks. A home office occupies an alcove, and the sitting-room fireplace is ornamental.

The kitchen and dining area have a large skylight and patio doors opening onto a balcony. A spiral metal staircase leads down to the private, continental-style garden, which also has access from the main bedroom and an outdoor dining area. Kitchen equipment includes an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. A washing machine, TV, towels, hair dryer and ironing equipment are provided. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are included.

The lower level contains a bedroom with a king-size bed and a bedroom with a double bed, each with an ensuite bathroom. There is no air-conditioning; fans are provided in each bedroom between May and September and can be requested outside that period.

Pimlico Underground station is five minutes away. The Royal Parks, Sloane Square and River Thames are within easy reach; Buckingham Palace and Big Ben are a stroll away, and Tate Britain is a nearby cultural attraction. The homeowner's housekeeper attends on Friday mornings.
