The house

Chalet Ushuaia has 150 sq.m of space in a peaceful green setting. Traditional alpine architecture includes reclaimed wood, exposed beams and large picture windows. The living room and terrace overlook Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi. The living area includes a dining area, an open-plan fitted kitchen and garden access.

Five bedrooms comprise one double bedroom with a shower-room ensuite, three double-or-twin bedrooms and a children's bedroom. The children's room has two single beds and two single-sleeper bunk beds. Two additional independent bathrooms have a bathtub and a shower respectively; each has a toilet and single basin.

Facilities include outdoor parking, a ski locker, TV, Wi-Fi, a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen has induction hobs, an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, extractor hood, kettle, toaster and Nespresso machine. A vacuum cleaner is also provided.

The Essential self-catered service includes agency reception, bathroom products, beds made before arrival, household and bath linen, and end-of-stay cleaning. A baby cot and high chair are available on request and are not included.

The Grands Montets ski area is about 2 km away, and a cross-country ski trail passes directly by the chalet. Hiking trails and alpine meadows provide summer walking opportunities.
