Osprey Cottage is part of Cedar Crest Cottages, a historic retreat welcoming visitors since the 1930s. The home occupies a single level on the second level of a two-story cottage and has one full bathroom and one half bathroom.

Radiant-heat floors, wood-paneled walls and natural wood accents accompany a living area with a loveseat and television for streaming movies. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker and toaster, with a dining table seating four. A stacked washer and dryer are in the hall closet. Kitchen, laundry and bath starter essentials are provided.

The bedroom has a king bed, a private bathroom with a shower/tub combination, and access to a covered patio with two chairs. The home has free Wi-Fi and no air conditioning.

Shared facilities include a community grill and seasonal firepit surrounded by cedar trees. The firepit does not operate during winter because of heavy snowfall. One assigned on-site parking space is available. Homewood Mountain Resort is a one-minute drive away, and more advanced ski terrain is available at nearby Palisades Tahoe.

The home occupies the second level of a two-story cottage, with its interior arranged on one level. Beach access is a short walk: turn left out of the complex, walk to Fern Street, cross the road and follow the braided cement path to the beach. Homewood Mountain Resort is a one-minute drive away. Parking is limited to one assigned space.

Maximum daytime occupancy is four. Maximum nighttime occupancy is two, beginning at 9:00 PM. The shared firepit is seasonal and does not operate during winter due to heavy snowfall. Reservations within 48 hours of arrival, stays longer than 28 days, and extensions require contacting the Guest Experience team to confirm availability and complete the reservation.
