PRIVATE STRUCTURE. Casalina is a charming country house, full of magic, located in Mondaino, a medieval borgo between Romagna and Marche. The access road to the house loses itself among woods of acacias and broom, interrupted by fields of olive trees and vines. The house in the past was a watchtower and, in fact, this can be seen from the way it is structured, on floors of different heights, a series of ups and downs and intersecting areas, sometimes with wide openings between them.
The atmosphere inside the house is a perfect entwining between past and present, between art and nature. The paintings, works, furnishings and objects contribute to giving the rooms an extraordinarily deep and sincere perception of the past, not common to other old houses. The house enjoys a breathtaking view of the landscape. Along the impressive route, you will encounter a myriad of incredible wooden sculptures created from huge tree roots.
