## About the house

The apartment has a living room with a sofa and television, connected to a separate kitchen with a dining table and direct garden access. Kitchen equipment includes a coffee machine, moka pot, oven, refrigerator and freezer.

One bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second has two single beds. The bathroom has a bidet and shower enclosure; a hairdryer is provided. Air conditioning serves the common area, and the apartment has independent heat-pump heating, Wi-Fi and a washing machine.

Other accommodations occupy the building. The large garden and barbecue are shared with the accommodation above. A covered terrace has an outdoor dining table.

Catania Airport is a 40-minute drive away, and Syracuse train station is less than a 10-minute drive away. Regional places to explore include the beaches of Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche; Ortigia, with the Zefiro and Nettuno solariums and Cala Rossa public beach; and the beaches of Calamosche, Vendicari and San Lorenzo farther south. Cultural attractions include Syracuse’s Greek theatre and archaeological park, the Ear of Dionysius, the Paolo Orsi Museum and the Latomie dei Cappuccini. Noto, Avola’s seafront and tuna fishery, and Marzamemi are other regional destinations.
