# Casa Bambu Wading River, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house The home has an open living, dining and fully equipped kitchen area, four second-floor bedrooms with full ensuite bathrooms, and a half bathroom on the main floor. Handcrafted Japanese woodwork and a tea room were designed by architect Hisao Hanafusa. Two bedrooms have king beds; the other two are designated Queen Bunk Beds and Full Bunk Beds, each with two bunk beds. The primary ensuite includes a shower and tub; the other ensuite bathrooms have showers. Streaming TVs are in the primary bedroom and Queen Bunk Beds bedroom. Outdoor facilities include a freestanding hot tub, hot-and-cold outdoor shower, gas grill, gas firepit, patio, beach chairs and umbrella, lounge chairs, patio furniture, cooler, kayak/canoe and paddleboard. The yard is fenced. Inside are a private gym, Sonos audio, Nespresso, gas-burning fireplace, heating, central air conditioning, Wi-Fi and laundry facilities. Bed linens, bath and beach towels, a hair dryer and iron/ironing board are provided. North Fork vineyards, restaurants, shops and nearby Hamptons beaches are a short drive away. Maximum occupancy is 12. The property is not suitable for unrelated guests; the primary renter must be at least 30. Smoking is not allowed. Additional guests and events are prohibited without express approval. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Pets require owner approval and may incur additional fees and/or a security deposit. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and one end-of-stay cleaning are included; additional requested cleanings are at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. After cancellation, reopening dates is at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and written notice is given at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 damage protection, subject to the booking agreement.
