The apartment occupies the ground floor of a 1470 aristocratic mansion built by architect Antonio Morandi, known as Terribilia. The building formerly housed the Accademia del Gelato cultural club and Bologna’s first private theater. Its Renaissance garden lies within a private 1,000-square-meter courtyard, away from noise and traffic; garden access is shared with other accommodation in the building.

The open-plan living area has a double sofa bed, television, dining table and kitchen. Kitchen equipment includes a microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, moka pot, refrigerator and freezer. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and closet, and the bathroom has a shower and hairdryer. Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washing machine and an iron are available.

The apartment is a few steps from Porta Maggiore, within Bologna’s limited traffic zone. The central train station is around 3 km away, and the airport is around 30 minutes away by car.

Arrange your check-in time with the local team at least 48 hours before arrival. The arrival window starts at 15:00 or 16:00 depending on the destination and ends at 20:00. Late check-in and check-out are available on request, subject to availability. Arrivals after 20:00 may incur an additional charge from € 20 to € 40. A tourist tax may be payable on arrival or a few days before arrival, according to local regulations; reservation details are available in the Wonderful Italy Guest Area.
